1- Let Your Dog pick out a present
If you’re looking to get your dog an additional special gift for their birthday try letting them pick it out themselves. Take your dog to your local dog or pet store and let them look around the aisles and pick out their gift.
2- Let Your Dog Unwrap a gift
My dog Laika gets a fun new toy on her birthday, and that I make the revealing process a little more exciting for her by letting her unwrap it. If your dog doesn’t have unwrapping experience keep it simple by using a gift bag. Remember to observe them closely some dogs have a tendency to eat anything in view, including wrapping paper and shredded bags.
3- Host a Doggo birthday party
If you’re searching for some way to make your dog’s birthday exceptional it’s hard to go wrong by hosting your own doggie birthday party. What's a pet party without your dog's entire gang? Invite some of your family and your close friends "along with their loved dogs" to celebrate your furry family member's birth.
If you’ve never had a bunch of doggie guests over to your home before I like to recommend starting small. When it comes to doggie birthday parties there’s nothing wrong with keeping it intimate; having a couple of doggie friends over is going to be quite enough to make it a memorable day for your dog. you can play some fun dog games and serve the dog-friendly cake, give out “doggie bags” filled with treats and goodies.
If you’re going to be holding your dog party outside remember to make sure that each one of the dogs has access to fresh water and shade at all times. And remember to keep an eye on things and ensure the dogs are supervised at all times.
4- Set Up a Photo Booth
Just like human parties, dog parties are often full of fun entertainment! a photo booth is a good way to capture wonderful memories while also giving dog owners a souvenir to take home and cherish forever. Let’s face it, we’re all permanently taking photos of our dogs anyway. So why not have some fun dressing up your pooch with props and snapping some photos? And have your guests upload their photos to Instagram or Facebook with a custom hashtag (#your_dog_name_birthday), so you'll be able to see all of the fun in one place.
